“This American carnage stops right here and right now.” – Donald Trump, Jan. 20, 2017
On Friday, President Trump stopped tweeting long enough to meet with people in Parkland, Fla. where days before, an NRA-enabled gunman murdered 17 people at a high school. Despite pledging during his inauguration speech that he would end “American carnage,” carnage in America continues.
But judging by his photo op with Parkland officials, a steady stream of gun violence hasn’t gotten the president down. He liked this photo so much, he made it the banner image on his Twitter account.
(Not pictured: the kids who died in the shooting.)
Here are more of Trump’s awesome post-massacre thumbs up photos.
From Parkland it’s onto Mar-a-Lago, where Trump is expected to honor the fallen by playing one hole of golf for each victim, plus an additional hole as an homage to whoever the next mass shooting victim will be.
